About phone frames here
The starting sizes come from a current iPhone Pro, whose screen corners are about 14 percent of its width and whose black border is about 4 percent. They're worked out from your screenshot's own width, so a full size capture and a shrunk one get the same phone. A landscape capture is measured on its short side, which is the width of the phone that took it.
Your screenshot isn't scaled. The border is added around it, so the file comes out larger by twice the border and every pixel of the screen is the one you captured. The border is pure black, so a dark mode app runs straight into it the way it does on a phone with an OLED screen.
Outside the rounded frame is transparent, so the phone sits cleanly on a slide, a web page or a coloured background. JPG can't store that, so it fills the corners with white unless you pick another colour in the download bar.

Does the phone frame make my screenshot smaller or blurry?
No. The screenshot is never scaled. The border is added outside it, so the file grows by twice the border's thickness and every pixel of the screen stays the one you captured. If you need a smaller file for a web page, resize it afterwards, which shrinks the frame and the screen together and keeps them in proportion.
Will it work for an Android screenshot or a tablet?
Yes. The starting sizes are an iPhone's, but they're only a starting point. Android phones vary, so match yours by eye: pull the corners in for a squarer screen and thin the border if your phone has a narrow one. A tablet looks right with much smaller corners, because its screen is far wider than its corners are round.
